Finally got around to coloring something. This to be exact.
Let me just point out, this is my first time using Photoshop for ANYTHING. And on top of that, I don't have a drawing tablet so I was using my mouse. And MAN was it a pain in the ass! (I am SOOO getting one) Despite that, I think this came out okay.
Waddaya think? Should I get a drawing tablet and keep practicing at this and do some fancy stuff like shading and textures? Or shall I quit while I'm ahead and let someone else do it?

I dont have a drawing tablet too 
but even with a mouse/touchpad its quite possible to colour something (drawing is hard imho but coloring not so hard). You should try to change the opacity option for colour brush tool in photoshop when you are colouring something to add colour tones 
this would make your coloring more realistic because of different tones of colours

Maybe you should try to colour in "PaintTool SAI" instead of photoshop. (some people prefere to draw in SAI rather then in photoshop )
